I have never had a bad meal at any Carrabba's that I have been to and this was no exception tonight. Food was excellent as always and the service that we received from Jewel was nothing less than excellent. I think anyone posting bad reviews are just incredibly picky or just like to complain.

Some of the worst service ever at a chain from servers, kitchen all the way to the manager

Very busy, early dinner and large 50th B-day party crowd, but my party of 2 was seated immediately. Waited on within a few minutes afer seated. Nervous, seemingly overwhelmed, but pleasant petite female server. Food was blah; the bread was warm & toasty, but the house salad and The Damian (grilled salmon & shrimp and scallops) pricey entree were mediocre at best.

As Carrabbas go.. The Plant City location was a disappointment. The visit started ordinarily enough as we were immediately greeted by a friendly hostess upon entrance. We were promptly seated and then we waited.. And waited to be met by our sever Brittany. To add perspective it wasn't busy. Oh about 10 minutes later we finally were greeted by her. Brittany was friendly enough but she wasn't very helpful and was more of just an order taker. We ordered drinks and calamari for an appetizer. I was a bit surprised when our appetizer arrived about five minutes before our drinks. Keep in mind this place wasn't busy. We ordered dinner after we received our drinks. We each ordered an Caesar salad and we shared the chicken trio with fett alf. Our salads arrived cold but the dressing wasn't evenly spread and the croutons were bland. Our dinner arrived shortly after.. The chicken was just warm and not hot but the fett alf was very good and hot. As chain restaurants go Carrabbas is usually very good, but this location was just meh..

Service very mediocre. My mom and I ordered a dessert to go at the end of our meal. It was great as far as the taste however the presentation needed a lot of help. It looked like it had been dropped on the floor or eaten off of when given to us.

The restaurant larger than I expected. Many seats to offer guest coming thought the doors. Service was adequate and friendly but it was also early with few tables. They had booths and tables. The olive oil that came with the bread had extra herbs to it that make the dip tastier. The Linguine Pescatore (with shrimp, scallop, and mussels) was good with a side of salad or soup that came with it (all pasta dishes come w that option).

I have no real complaints about this location. It was a better choice than the other options in the area which were Mc Donald's or Waffle House. The lighting is nice for a nice evening out with your spouse and not overly crowded when we were there on a Thursday evening. The bread was fresh and the salad was not overly doused in dressing. I had the bit so exciting spaghetti with meat sauce which was a nice large potion and enough for lunch the next day. Nothing spectacular or fancy but nice dinning compare to the other options for sure.

Ordered the Shrimp Rissoto , not very pleasant, it tasted as if it came from a can of Chef Boyardee . The shrimp was over cooked to the point that it was rubbery and not seasoned , the rissoto looked more like chopped up spaghetti rather than arborio rice , some was overcooked other undercooked, the sauce was pasty and tasted like spaghetti -o , after having this I did not know that Chef Boyardee had shrimp rissoto as a new item sold at Carrabas.

My eleven year old daughter has been begging me to take her to Carrabba's. Typically, I've felt the restaurant chain has been overpriced and they've under delivered. However, tonight was different. There was no wait and we were seated in Kylie's section. She is one of the nicest waitresses I've met (and I eat out multiple times a week at restaurants across the southeast). She made certain that our beverages were always half full and delivered another before we ever asked. She gave us plenty of time to review the menu and help with our selections. After dinner, she packed our food for take-home. She also gave my daughter a very special gift. The food was good - but the service was so outstanding and unexpected that I can do nothing but wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant. Their prices were reasonable as well. You can select smaller portions or selected multiple entrees for a nice tasting of different dishes!

If you like terrible service and substandard food this is the place to go! A dinner for 4 should not take 2.25 hours when seated at 5:30 pm to eat. 20 minutes of that time was waiting for them to pick up the check to pay for rotten fish. My advice is to stay clear! the Waffel House has better service and food.

Hey now, right next to the strawberry festival. We actually went to Seaworld and stopped at this Carrabba's on the way back to Tampa. It was relatively empty even though the Strawberry Festival was right down the road. The service was a little slow but our waitress was very nice and took good care of us. I had the waldorf salad which is one of my favorite things on the menu. It was great as usual. I also had the lentil soup which was pleasantly good as well. I love the free bread and we ordered the mussels and calamari appetizers. The calamari is fried but is delicious and the mussels are always great. The butter sauce that they use is spectacular. Overall this was a good experience, I only give it 3 stars because some of the other Carrabba's I have been to are better.

Great waiter but completely understaffed for a Wed night before a holiday. Waited forever for food and bill.

This location has excellent food and very good service. The happy hour is wonderful and it's worth waiting to eat as this is by far the classiest restaurant in Plant City.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
